JSTA.
Journal of Scientific andClear guidance for preparing and submitting rigorous, ethical, transparent, and reproducible scholarly research to the Journal of Scientific and Technological Advances (JSTA).
The Journal of Scientific and Technological Advances (JSTA) welcomes original scholarly work within its multidisciplinary scope, including natural and applied sciences, engineering and technology, health sciences, social sciences, and educational sciences.
Manuscripts should present a clearly defined research question, employ appropriate methodology, report findings transparently, and demonstrate a substantive contribution to the relevant scholarly literature. Interdisciplinary submissions are encouraged when their academic relevance and methodological suitability are established.
Submission implies that the work has not been published previously in a substantially equivalent form and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Any related preprints, conference papers, or previously disseminated materials must be disclosed at submission so that their status can be assessed under the journal's publication policies.
All listed authors must have approved the submitted manuscript, its author order, and the decision to submit it to JSTA. The journal's publication language is English. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is clear, accurate, and suitable for scholarly evaluation.
Authors should prepare their files in accordance with the journal's double-anonymous peer-review procedure and the technical requirements provided through the OJS submission system.
Separate title page. Provide the full manuscript title, complete author names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author email address, and ORCID identifiers where available. Include relevant funding and disclosure information in the appropriate submission fields or documents.
Anonymized manuscript. Remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, identifying institutional references, and document metadata that could reveal author identities. Self-citations should be presented in a manner compatible with double-anonymous review without compromising accurate scholarly attribution.
Research structure. Include a concise and informative title, an abstract, relevant keywords, and appropriately organized sections covering the research background, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions, as applicable to the study design.
Tables and figures. Number and cite each table and figure in the text. Supply descriptive captions, legible graphics, and appropriate source acknowledgements. Authors must obtain any necessary permissions to reproduce third-party copyrighted material.
References and citations. Verify bibliographic details against the original publications. Ensure consistency between in-text citations and the reference list and provide valid DOI links where available. Follow APA 7 reference formatting as specified in the JSTA manuscript template.
Declarations and supporting materials. Provide the required ethics, funding, conflicts of interest, data availability, author contribution, and AI-use declarations where applicable. Upload supplementary materials separately when requested.
Reports original empirical, experimental, theoretical, or computational findings supported by a transparent research design, appropriate analyses, and clear scientific interpretation.
Presents a critical, methodologically transparent synthesis of existing research, identifies knowledge gaps, and discusses implications for theory, practice, or future investigation.
Communicates a concise, substantive research contribution with sufficient methodological and evidential detail to support independent scholarly evaluation.
Article-specific word limits, manuscript templates, and supplementary file requirements, if adopted, will be specified in the official OJS submission instructions before they are enforced.
Download the Word documents relevant to your submission stage. The main manuscript must be anonymized for double-anonymous review; author identities and declarations belong in separate files.
Use this template to prepare the anonymized manuscript. Delete the instructional page before submission and do not fill publication-only metadata.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Provide author names, affiliations, ORCID identifiers where available, and corresponding author details outside the anonymous review manuscript.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Complete the authorship, CRediT contributions and disclosure form with all coauthors; upload it separately from the anonymized manuscript.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Check manuscript formatting, anonymity, authorship, references, ethical declarations and other submission requirements.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Complete where ethics review, participant consent, animal research, identifiable material or related study safeguards require documentation.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Use after an editorial revision decision to respond point by point to editor and reviewer comments while preserving reviewer anonymity.
Download Word (.docx) ↓Use only when a change to the author list, author order or corresponding author is requested. Changes require editorial approval.
Download Word (.docx) ↓For accepted articles only. Authorized rights holders complete the publication permission and open access licensing agreement after acceptance.

Authors must comply with applicable research ethics requirements and provide accurate disclosures concerning ethical approval, informed consent, funding, competing interests, and data availability or access restrictions, where relevant.
Research involving human participants, identifiable personal information, or animals must comply with relevant legal requirements, institutional approvals, and disciplinary ethical standards. Where formal approval is not required, authors should provide an appropriate explanation when requested.
All authors must satisfy the journal's authorship requirements and accept responsibility for the integrity of their contributions. Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not acceptable. Funding sources and relationships that could reasonably influence the research must be declared.
Authors must disclose substantive uses of generative artificial intelligence tools, including their roles in producing or analyzing scholarly content. Authors remain fully responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-assisted material, including citations and factual statements. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
Editors may request supporting documentation and may decline or return manuscripts that do not satisfy the journal's research integrity requirements. Authors should consult the Publication Ethics Policy and Peer Review Policy before submitting their work.
JSTA operates under a Diamond Open Access publication model. Authors are not charged submission fees or article processing charges (APCs), and published scholarly articles are freely accessible to readers without subscription fees.
Authors retain copyright in their scholarly works. Published research articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , subject to the applicable publication agreement and the journal's formally adopted licensing terms.
Under CC BY 4.0, readers may share and adapt licensed material, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given, a link to the licence is supplied, and any changes are indicated.
Manuscripts are managed through the journal's official Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Authors should sign in or register, review the current submission requirements, complete the required declarations, and upload their manuscript files.
If submissions have not yet opened, the OJS portal will provide the relevant information when submission services become available. The presence of a submission link does not necessarily indicate that the journal is currently accepting manuscripts.
