The Journal of Scientific and Technological Advances (JSTA) is an international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scholarly journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge, responsible technological innovation and interdisciplinary academic exchange.
Mission and scholarly vision
JSTA seeks to provide a credible, accessible and intellectually rigorous forum for the publication and dissemination of original scholarly research. The journal supports studies that offer well-substantiated insights, advance disciplinary understanding and contribute to scientific and technological progress.
By facilitating scholarly dialogue among researchers from diverse academic backgrounds, JSTA encourages interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining clear standards for originality, methodological soundness, transparent reporting, research integrity and academic relevance.

Multidisciplinary by design
JSTA welcomes scholarly contributions across five broad academic disciplines. Submissions are evaluated according to their scientific contribution, methodological quality, originality and compliance with applicable ethical standards.
The journal particularly encourages research that establishes meaningful connections between scientific disciplines, addresses emerging research challenges or contributes to the responsible development and application of knowledge.

JSTA is led by its Editor-in-Chief, who oversees the journal's academic direction, editorial policies, peer-review processes and publication decisions in accordance with established scholarly publishing standards.
İstanbul Topkapı University Press serves as the journal's print publisher, responsible for the publication of its printed editions under the applicable publishing arrangements. Editorial policies, peer-review processes and publication decisions are managed independently by the journal's editorial leadership.
Editorial decisions are based on academic merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance and independent scholarly assessment. Publishing arrangements must not compromise the impartiality of the editorial process.
Manuscripts submitted by the Editor-in-Chief, close collaborators or other individuals presenting a potential conflict of interest must be assigned to an independent, non-conflicted editor with responsibility for the relevant editorial assessment and decision.

JSTA follows a Diamond Open Access publishing model. Readers may access published scholarly articles without subscription charges, and authors are not required to pay submission fees or article processing charges (APCs).
The journal's planned publication frequency is two issues per year, and English is its publication language.
Research manuscripts are subject to initial editorial screening and, when appropriate, independent double-anonymous peer review. Editorial decisions consider the quality, originality, significance and ethical integrity of submitted research.
Published scholarly articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) , subject to the licensing terms applicable to the publication. Authors retain copyright in their work.
A commitment to accurate information
JSTA is preparing its inaugural publication programme and developing its scholarly publication record. Information about the journal, its editorial structure, publication arrangements, indexing status and bibliographic identifiers is made available as these details are formally established.
The journal does not claim inclusion in Scopus, Web of Science or any other bibliographic indexing database unless such inclusion has been officially confirmed.
The first issue of the journal, Volume 1, Issue 1, is scheduled for publication in December 2026.
The journal is committed to maintaining accurate public information and updating its published policies and records as its academic publishing activities develop.
